With so many ‘social’ sites on my ‘to update’ list, I seem to always forget about Tumblr…..  sorry Tumblr.  It’s nothing personal..really…  But you are so mellow and unobtrusive….  so easy to just pass by on my way to somewhere else….  you really need to speak up, make a fuss… stick your foot out in front of me & trip me as I jog past….   get my attention.

Which is why I’ve decided to start using my Studio  http://www.artfire.com/users/ArtElemental  ,    to help abused, abandoned and adoptable animals.   Each month I will be running special sales to benefit various animal shelters and rescue organizations in their efforts to save and care for the millions of animals in need.  The Special Sales involve my donating 25% of every sale during that sale period, to a shelter or rescue group.  I will be announcing these sales, the effective dates etc. via Twitter, Tmblr and as many of my ‘social networking’ accounts as possible.  Hopefully these special sales will raise funds as well as awareness for the animals and those who devote the time, effort and financial support to them every day.  Maybe I can even inspire other artist to join me.
